Task description and requirements

Hibernate Specialist (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for an experienced Hibernate Specialist to support our team in optimizing a newly integrated setup within a Java-based microservice backend platform.

Tasks:

Analyse and resolve login behaviour issues related to the current Hibernate setup

Advise on proper use of transactions with Hibernate and JPA to prevent deadlocks

Optimize persistence of data within microservices using Hibernate and Spring Boot

Review and improve interaction with SQL Server database

Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure stable and efficient service operations

Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with Hibernate (latest framework version)

In-depth knowledge of JPA, transaction management, and concurrency handling

Solid experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservice architectures

Familiarity with SQL Server as a backend database

Project Details:

Start: ASAP

Duration: TBD (initial assessment + potential extension)

Workload: 2-3 days in total for initial assessment

Location: 100% remote

Language: English (German is a plus)
