Task description and requirements

Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated SAP Interface Consultant to join the Group Accounting & SAP team.

Tasks:
- Design and implementation of a system interface connecting SAP with a pre-system. This includes: (1) setting up and deploying the interface, (2) establishing SAP-side connectivity and performing data mapping between the pre-system and SAP, (3) close collaboration with the client IT team, development team, SAP governance, and technical experts, and (4) reviewing and refining existing RPA processes.
- Collaboration on the development and operational rollout of new posting logic within the SAP system, tailored to client-specific requirements.
- Contribution to project management tasks within SAP digitization initiatives, including current-state assessment, process design, activity prioritization, communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
- Additional ad hoc tasks related to ongoing project work.

Your profile
- Strong expertise in SAP system interfacing, with familiarity in robotic process automation (RPA)
- Solid understanding of standard business processes
- Proven experience in optimizing processes within accounting and/or finance
- Good knowledge of the SAP FI/CO module, including both application and customization
-Senior-level experience in project management, change management, and communication
- Fluent in written and spoken English; German is a plus but not required

Start: Mid-May
Duration: 18 months
Utilization: Full-time 40 hours per week
Location: Remote with once-a-month travels
Language: Fluent English, German is a bonus
