Task description and requirements
On behalf of our client, a well-established organization in the pharmaceutical sector, we are seeking an Interim ServiceNow Architect.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the ServiceNow architecture in the areas of HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Procurement, and/or Creator Apps, ensuring solutions follow established best practices and deliver maximum value.
• Design and architect scalable service workflow solutions that align with both business demands and technical/architectural frameworks.
• Actively contribute to the architecture review board to maintain quality standards and approve technical developments.
• Develop comprehensive architectural documentation including design blueprints, integration strategies, and deployment models.
• Spearhead proof-of-concept efforts to validate proposed solutions.
• Ensure adherence to software development standards, as well as security and privacy regulations, throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams during implementation phases.
• Monitor and assess solution performance, offering strategic improvements where necessary.
• Conduct workshops and training to deepen architectural knowledge and practice across the organization.
• Engage in global IT communities and governance groups to exchange insights and stay current with industry advancements.
Your Background:
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working with the ServiceNow platform, especially in HRSD, Procurement, and Creator Apps.
• Background in IT service management solutions (e.g., ICT integration) and process automation.
• Expert knowledge of IT architecture and design best practices.
• Strong foundation in usability principles and techniques.
• Experience with UX design methodologies, including ideation and storyboarding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities.
• Practical experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and working closely with developers in large-scale implementations.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced agile or Scrum environments.
• Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Strong conceptual thinking, analytical skills, and decision-making ability.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
