Task description and requirements
This project addresses the need for a standardized software foundation across all smart appliances. By transitioning from category-based to platform-based modularity, it enhances efficiency, scalability, and interoperability. Bosch.OS serves as the core framework, ensuring seamless integration and future-proofing appliance ecosystems.
We are looking for a Software Product Manager with expertise in Software Architecture and Development, Embedded Systems and IoT, Product Lifecycle Management, and Agile & Scrum Methodologies.

The main task of the project is to develop and implement a standardized, modular, and scalable software architecture (Bosch.OS) that unifies the control, UI, and communication systems across all appliance categories, leveraging SyMaNA to enhance interoperability, efficiency, and innovation.
Other responsibilities in the project include:
• Define and oversee the Bosch.OS software architecture roadmap
• Align SyMaNA standardization goals with business and technical requirements
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate the Central Computing Module (CCM)
• Ensure seamless cross-category appliance communication within the platform
• Prioritize feature development and bug fixes based on customer needs and feedback
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to enhance user experience across smart appliances
• Drive agile development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of software updates
• Monitor system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to expand software capabilities
