Personal summary
I’m a GIS technician with a background in physical geography and environmental data, offering practical GIS support for mapping, spatial analysis, and data management. I currently work in a public-sector role supporting forestry and land management projects, where I help keep geospatial databases accurate, produce clear and reliable maps, and carry out spatial and basic data analysis. I work mainly in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS, and I’m used to supporting others with GIS tasks, troubleshooting, and improving workflows. I also provide general IT and systems support, helping teams use planning and mapping tools effectively so projects run smoothly and efficiently. I hold a BSc in Physical Geography with GIS and have experience working with environmental, climate, and spatial datasets through both professional work and academic projects. I enjoy taking complex or messy data and turning it into something clear, useful, and easy to understand. I’m particularly interested in freelance work related to mapping, GIS support, environmental and land-based projects, and data organisation, but I’m also happy to help with one-off GIS tasks or ongoing support.
