Personal summary

As a fellow of both CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians), I am a well-trained and experienced fractional finance professional. With more than twenty years of experience in heading up finance teams, and ten of these as a Finance Director in the independent retail and hospitality sector, I have an inside understanding of the pace, pressure, and priorities of this environment. After twenty years working in industry, I started my own practice to focus on the aspects of the profession I enjoy the most: helping businesses to optimise margins, stock, staffing, and financial performance, to manage cashflow, increase profit and plan for future growth. As the founder of FractoRS, I provide part-time financial director, financial controller, or management accountant services to SMEs in person in Suffolk and Essex and remotely nationwide. I bring strategic finance to the heart of each business I work with, with the goal of turning financial data into commercial advantage. Combining strong attention to detail with the ability to simplify complex financial challenges, I can deliver insights that can enable confident decision-making. Not least, I value the time working together with some inspirational people along the way.
