Had completed 4 years audit experience in one of the big 4 firms in the world plus 24 years career experience in the mercantile sector in various places in Sri Lanka, United Kingdom & Kingdom Saudi Arab, challenging positions spread from Accountant to Head of Finance, and over 17 years’ experience as Senior Manager. Primarily regarded as cost cutter and administrator of all financial controls, maintains rules and regulations, using new qualities to maintain a balance between control and creativity. In order to establish accountability with strong product/service offering, generate the energy and resources for growth as well as financial strength to lead and model creativity, energy and resourcefulness. Finding and funding the dreams of the companies, its employees and its shareholders. Plan for the most reasonable situations that can be encountered by the business & translating the business strategy into action. Evaluating and presenting the business case for change & primarily responsible for understanding how the business is reflected in shareholder value, measuring return on net assets, protecting corporate assets (risk management and internal controls), and in setting fair value pricing for the use of company assets, assist the Directors, in the allocation of company capital using clear and objective criteria.
