My career in communications has spanned more than 25 years and has included five years managing regional media strategy for the UK Prime Minister’s Office at 10 Downing Street. I am an NCTJ qualified journalist who has spent the past 18 years working in public sector PR, including communications, media handling and marketing management roles for police, local government, and central government. I'm a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) with broad experience of strategic communications planning, digital and traditional marketing, project management, complex media handling, social marketing, behaviour change, and specialist knowledge on social media.
