Personal summary

In 2007 I graduated from London Metropolitan University as a Part 1 Architectural assistant, gaining my Masters in Architecture in 2012. In July 2018 I completed my Part III with the Bartlett and registered as an Architect. I have over 15 years of experience, covering the full spectrum of architectural services: site surveying, detailing, construction, through to compiling tender packages, dealing with building regulations and preparing planning applications and concept designs. I also have project management experience, carrying out works for house extensions from the planning to completion stage, liaising with various consultants, planning and building control officers. I am skilled in various modelling tools that enable an efficient and accurate method of communicating the overall design as well as the construction detail. I am skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up and Adobe Suite. I have strong arts and design skills. I am also multi-lingual, speaking Lithuanian, Polish, Russian and English fluently, which is useful in gaining and communicating with wide range of clients. I previously worked for OSEL, a small architectural practice, where I spent 11 years of my professional experience and "grew" into my trade's specialist. I also worked at KSR Architects and Pellings, where I was project architect on residential schemes. My KSR experience constituted mostly of Moscow based projects, most of which were residential masterplanning schemes. My language skills helped me to manage Polish based architects team and deal with Russian clients in Russia. At Pellings I managed social housing sector. Key projects include Heron House, Pinehurst Park and Edgware Road, most of which are either residential block of flats or mixed use residential/retail/office projects. I have also worked on number of conservation buildings, such as Burlington Arcade, Littleberries Estate and 16 Hanover Square. I am currently running my own practice - Brooks Architecture and Interior Design, which I created in 2020 , where I specialise in private residential / commercial projects, including new house construction, house extensions and interior design. My tasks mainly include planning: feasibility studies, concept design, preparation of planning applications, site meetings. I also specialise in building control & construction: building regulations, detailed design drawings and site inspections.
