Personal summary

I have always been highly-skilled in English, and one of the ways this manifests is in my inability to ignore any kind of mistake in written material - be it a typo, a syntax error, wrong grammar, or structural weakness. After an English Literature degree at UCL (University of London) I spent over two decades in advertising agencies in roles which included accountability for the accuracy of adverts on TV, online, on the radio and in print. I've since studied for qualifications in proofreading and copy editing, in order to turn my talent into a revenue stream and help others dodge the pitfalls and bear-traps of producing error-free communications. I believe my business career gives me a useful advantage over some competitors, because it's given me useful context for many different types of published material.
