Personal summary

I am an incurable passionate about languages and especially about the French language. I have been studying the French language intensively for almost 17 years now, I have two Master's Degrees in French linguistics, one obtained in Romania and one obtained in Lyon, France. I also have a Dalf C1 certificate in French and have been working with the French language as soon as I graduated. I have worked as a freelance translator for several years and have used translation management systems such as memoQ in order to ease my job. I have multiple awards (stated in my resume) in French grammar and writing contests, and national contests. When I was living and studying in France, I have also worked with phonetic transcription between ancient French and modern French. I have been working with French language quality for almost 4 years now at Amazon, where I am also participating in localizing English US content into the French language and culture and cross-monitoring content between romance languages, Italian and Spanish, in order to ensure that the demands are correctly and culturally adapted. This is done in collaboration with our clients in the specific countries. My main responsibilities are to ensure that the Alexa device is working properly in France, that the language is accurate and correct, that no mistakes are made in order for Alexa to function perfectly. I am also working with transcription of audio files and text annotation, natural language understanding and device enhancement.
