Personal summary

I have an Hons BEd in English and SEN from University of London and taught in UK and Brazil before moving to South Africa. In Cape Town I worked as a freelance writer and editor along with running a restaurant called Inside Out and a Property Development Company. My passion for writing and food took over and I started a business called FOODBOX which enabled me to combine writing and cooking - offering content for blogs, articles, editing, proofreading, research for individuals and businesses and recipe creation. I have recently moved back to the UK and to Portugal (where I have a small farm) and am able to continue on my journey of food and writing with the added bonus of growing and rearing our own food on the farm! At any opportunity we travel and eat - much of our time is spent in Turkey and Greece where we have a yacht and are able to sail around the islands and coasts and immerse ourselves in the different cultures. Obviously now we are in Portugal we can explore the culinary delights of Spain and Portugal with ease, hopefully expanding into the other European countries soon.
