Personal summary

I’ve had a love of reading and writing since I was just 5 years old, but it wasn’t until 2020 that I decided to try my hand at a personal blog through WordPress after writing blogs and editing content for my regular place of work. While the use of the website was easy enough, I soon realised that a blog surrounding my personal life wasn’t quite my cup of tea (and I do so love tea!). Instead, I turned my eyes to a freelance writing career and I began writing articles, blogs, and newsletters for Dental Nurse Network. Through this, I have further developed the skills I gleaned from my time studying including research, editing, and proofreading, while providing professional content which advises and informs the reader with engaging and compelling language. I work in collaboration with the Dental Nurse Network team to create high-quality content, be it based upon a provided brief or my own idea, to a set word limit and within deadlines. Projects completed include articles raising awareness in mental health, oral health education, the latest controversial subjects within dentistry, and encouragement towards dental nurses to further their career (and how to do so). I currently write between 3 and 6 articles per month, as needed by the company. Links to my published work are available on request. I have varied interests with a specialism in dentistry, CQC, and data compliance, while also holding knowledge in the skills of baking, family matters- such as support to new parents and parenting hacks- and a beginner level of gardening knowledge which I am working to expand upon. I can however turn my hand to any project and use extensive research to ensure a fact-based and accurate piece of content which is effectively proofread and edited. As a creative outlet, I use my free time (where I am not spending it with my wonderful family) to write creatively, and I enjoy developing new worlds and characters to better exercise my creative flair.
