Personal summary

I am an MSc Automation, Control and Robotics graduate from Sheffield Hallam University with a strong focus on real-time data systems, IoT platforms, and applied artificial intelligence in industrial environments. I am currently working as a Data Engineer at Koolmill Systems Ltd (AFIC), contributing to an Innovate UK-funded project focused on digitalising food processing systems. My work involves designing scalable cloud-based architectures, developing real-time data pipelines, and enabling data-driven decision-making using sensor data from industrial machinery. During my MSc, I developed an AI-based real-time defect detection system using computer vision (YOLO), aimed at improving efficiency and reducing waste in food manufacturing environments. I am particularly interested in applying machine learning, reinforcement learning, and real-time analytics to solve complex problems in dynamic systems — especially in areas such as optimisation, sustainable food systems, and intelligent decision-making. I am currently seeking opportunities in research and PhD programmes where I can contribute to impactful, data-driven solutions.
