Personal summary

I am a highly motivated freelance writer with a breadth of experience writing for print, online and social, and for formats including blog posts, long form articles, e-comms, interviews and magazine features. I'm looking for more ad hoc short projects and/or longer term regular work. I've been freelancing for almost 20 years and I've been an editor, features editor and full time comms manager too. I've written for a range of organisations, and agencies, including The Health Improvement Studies Institute, part of the University of Cambridge. I've also worked on projects for well known healthcare and consumer lifestyle brands, and been published in trade and consumer magazines. I'm a creative person who enjoys coming up with new ideas to engage target audiences, and can translate complicated concepts into accessible, engaging content. I have excellent communication skills which have enabled me to develop my relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders at every level, managing multiple deadlines and projects.
