Personal summary

I am a time served engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering. I have experience of manging multiple business units, Engineering team members and business projects. I have project managed building launches throughout the UK and the EU and have extensive experience working with international partners to deliver projects on time and on budget. I have an excellent customer focus and understand the need to deliver to internal and external customers. I meet regularly with clients from all over the world and am able to successfully negotiate language barriers, equipment issues and customer concerns ensuring customer confidence in our products, systems and support. On a daily basis I lead a team of internal and external contract engineers. I am responsible for coordinating a high level of technical support to our customer bases around the world. I am a motivational leader and have the ability to look at the individual and help them to achieve to their highest potential knowing the road to success is different for everyone. The industry I work in can be very demanding and I provide the right support to my team inside or outside of business hours so they have the help required to do the best job possible. My team value this flexibility as they always feel supported. Due to the remote nature of my role one of my main responsibilities is managing the risk for my team members and the buildings I manage. I have written and delivered in collaboration with the WHS team multiple risk assessments and VSOP’s for multiple technical concerns ensuring adoption by auditing regularly and reviewing periodically to ensure accuracy of information ensuring all policies and regulatory requirements are adhered to. I am computer literate and have extensive experience in a regulated workplace through my working in the food industry. I have experience in preparing for internal and external audits and working with regulatory bodies and responding to their feedback. I firmly believe that everyone in the workplace has a responsibility for health and safety but as a project manager my role is to drive it forward ensuring that the highest standards are met.
