Personal summary

I have been an Early Years teacher for over 10 years, with 6 years experience in England as an Infant and Primary Teacher. Since I was a university student, I have always been interested in education and have been involved in children's development in a variety of formal and informal roles. Throughout my teaching career, I have gained extensive and valuable experience with students in groups as well as in private lessons. I have updated my knowledge of education and learned new teaching methods to further ensure a positive values-based education and put the learner as an active and central part of it. Particularly rewarding is the teaching time I gained in England as an Infant tutor and also as a support teacher in various primary schools, where I provided support in subjects such as Maths, English, Science and History, conveying the subject material in an accessible and compelling way. I used different teaching methods in collaboration with the school and teachers. I would also like to mention my positive experience as a support teacher at ST Benedicts Catholic School (UK) where I was an active part of the religious work of the school and where we fostered a religious ethos in the daily lives of our pupils. I am a creative and experienced teacher, who is passionate about teaching and builds positive relationships with my students and colleagues. I have strong leadership qualities and possess the ability to handle challenging behaviour calmly and effectively. I always plan my lessons carefully, using additional material or creating my own educational resources to provide students with a stimulating learning environment, where they can reach their full potential.
