Personal summary

I am a software engineer by profession and a serious amateur researcher for the past twenty years. I have built products in C, C++, Java, Scala and R. In the last few years I have been working mostly in data science and data engineering using R, Python and SQL as the most frequently used tools. I have a sound understanding of statistical techniques and optimization methods and I look forward to working on projects where I have to start from ground zero.
